Yeah, plus a multiple who's actually something other than an axe-murderer or a helpless victim! Instead, THEY are the therapist helping others, not the one being helped! I love that!

And obviously while things do get trippy as hell, I feel like Paprika actually shows more about how psychological reality isn't the same as corporeal reality. Paprika takes on numerous forms throughout the film to try and elude pursuers or search more effectively, and it's clear that the psychological world doesn't follow the same rules. Inception at least TRIES to go there, but in my opinion, Paprika does it way better and more fluidly. It takes full advantage of the powers of animation, which I feel Inception just couldn't match, being live-action.
