Who are they, and what?

Incl. canon or not, this is about your perception and how you see them

I can only see Abe from Oofuri as gay. I ship him with Mihashi, but Mihashi could be straight, bi, idc, but I can only see Abe as gay.

Nami in One Piece has always been and will always be a lesbian in my eyes. I just can't see her ever being attracted to a man, but there sure seems to be potential in some of her interactions with other women.

Now that you mention it, me too. Nami and Zoro are the lesbian+gay odd duo to me. Sanji is bi. Luffy is nothing.

I have a really tough time seeing Tony Stark as anything but bi.

I can only see Poe as 100% gay.

Me too, though considering how little we actually know about Poe I totally admit it's wishful thinking. The actor joking about it didn't help though. I've really got my fingers crossed for Poe being the first canon on-screen movie Star Wars gay character, though.

I know he's very much established as attracted to women, but I always got such a low-key gay vibe from Sam Seaborn.

I can only read Hux as gay.

I can only see Aric Jorgan (from The Old Republic) as heterosexual. I know that's a cop out since he's a het romance by default, but I haven't ever rolled a male Trooper, so I've no clue what a male character's dynamic is with him and if it could convince me otherwise like Corso Riggs does with a M!Smuggler. And I don't think M!Trooper/Aric was or is really a "thing" in the fandom to begin with, either, so yeah.

Conversely, I saw Kaliyo Djannis as bisexual and was disappointed we couldn't do anything with her in the romance department with female Imperial Agents... and now female characters get to flirt with her in KOTFE, albeit with the caveat that she still predominantly likes men. Alright then! (If Kaliyo was a S/S romance choice from the start, I would've kept my first F!Agent, tbh)

And after 'Star Fox: The Battle Begins', I see Peppy Hare as "probably highly likely bi", because his bromance with General Pepper is heavily implied to be a little more than that, lmao. (I say bi, because I have no clue if Vivian Hare exists in the Zero continuity and I'd rather not erase her to ship Peppy/Pepper)

Now that you mention it, I read Atris as in love with the Exile, although the canon clearly favors Male Exile.

Light Yagami is gay. It fits in perfectly with the narrative of him having this outer shell that he allows everyone to see where he is perfectly everything society expects of an upstanding young man, but hides what he secretly is on the inside. It fits even before he has the Death Note. Furthermore, he seems decidedly uninterested in women, and more interested in men. Even without looking at what I think is intentional homoeroticism with L, he seems more interested in the guys in general.

Cloud Strife is bi. Genuinely think he and Barret have just as much potential as a couple as the girls, considering Barret's a canon date option. Also I head!canon that Sephiroth fucked cadet!Cloud a few times (there weren't enough beds! cough) and Cloud hero-worshiped him but Sephiroth never remembered his name.

Steve Rogers I have trouble seeing as anything but bi. The same with the Doctor (though more just doesn't care about gender).

Even though Willow is a lesbian in canon, I have trouble seeing her as anything but bi because I love both her relationship with Oz and with Tara and I don't like the denying of her earlier attraction to men.

I see Mairon/Sauron as pansexual. He'll have sex with anyone if there is something in it for him, willing or not.

Celebrimbor I see as bi with a preference for blondes (Galadriel and Annatar).

Spike from Buffy I can't see as anything but bi. Same with Angel.

I agree with all your Whedonverse comments. However, I think Angel def. leans toward women and it takes a very special sort of guy to get him to acknowledge his bi-ness.

Angelus, on the other hand, will take anything that catches his eye, no reservations.

I always saw Akane Tendo from Ranma 1/2 as being attracted to girls to some degree. Maybe like a 2 on the Kinsey scale.

Conner Kenway and Evie Frye from Assassin's Creed seem Asexual to me.

Big Boss from Metal Gear Solid falls firmly into the Bisexual category.

Is that last one headcanon? I thought the majority of MGS characters were bi.

Fitz from Robin Hobb's books I can only really see as straight. He's sort of aggressively straight, haha.

nami is a lesbian

Gandalf: Non-sexual.

Nalia (Baldur's Gate): Lesbian

Commander Shepard: Bi

James Bond: Straight but open-minded.

Jadzia Dax: Bi (although joined Trill don't classify sexuality in human terms)
