I always thought Usagi was bi since reading the manga. I can't see Sherlock (in any incarnation) as anything but asexual.

Me, too. And because of this, even though I really like Elementary in general, it's really weird every time they mention all his threesomes and one night stands and stuff.

I see ACD canon Sherlock as asexual but have had a lot of different interpretations of the character's sexuality (and mental health situation) for the various adaptations I've seen. Elementary Sherlock, for example, is pretty clearly sexual and straight, and I'm cool with that because there are plenty of other Sherlocks out there to pin different labels on.

I think ACD canon Sherlock is ace but might make an exception for Irene Adler.
House is bi.

The funny thing about "A Scandal in Bohemia" is that I tend to see the story from Irene's perspective where, as the story starts, she's already in love with another man and marries him and Holmes is like a speedbump in her life. So, when people talk about a "thing" between Holmes and Adler, it kind of stops me short and I'm like "Oh... yeah, that was probably reeeally one-sided..." I kind of enjoy picturing Holmes sitting around brooding (whether it's romantic pining or professional frustration, I don't care) while Irene is off somewhere not giving a shit. Of course, I'm just talking about ACD canon here, not Sherlock or any other adaptation.

I can certainly see ACD Holmes as making exceptions. The tricky thing is the Victorian context and where sexual orientation ends and societal expectations begin. I can also see Holmes thinking "A wife would totally cramp my style, so no sex for me." but I generally come down on the side of he's-just-not-iterested-at-all.
