(Anonymous) 2016-05-20 11:03 pm (UTC)(link)If you can move past the fact that there is a teensy bit of criticism (that is easily tuned out or avoided altogether) concerning what you consume, then you're gold. But if you're going to insist upon treating these tiny, trivial voices of opposition as if a big bad SJW death squad is going to personally come to your house and threaten you until you delete all objectionable media off your devices, you end up sounding like those milita nuts who think they need to stockpile semiautomatics and grenade launchers because "Obama gonna take away mah gunz!"
"Eroticism depends to a great degree on a sense of play, of ambiguity, of (yes!) danger."
This might be true for you, in which case don't sweat it because you will still find play of people willing to engage in consensual "play". But your mistake is believing that what you find erotic is what everyone else finds erotic, too. I'm not sure why you'd think that, but it's not accurate.

Actually come to think of it, I may have fallen for a troll, because all the head shaking and tutting about how good the "good old days" were before the PC crowd ruined everything is pretty typical troll fodder. But then again, there are people who genuinely think this way, so... /shrug
