Actually I'm pretty sure this is a pretty old fanfic project. Like, at least 10 years old. But it's still up.

I think the new rash of abominations in Tolkien-land comes from the kinkmeme for the Hobbit movies, 60% of which involves casual sibling incest and/or mpreg.

I'm a fan of casual incest (or not casual incest, either one) and largely indifferent to mpreg, but I'm mostly bothered by all of the terrible genderbent!Bilbo fics (the other characters get genderbent too but it's mostly Bilbo from what I've seen) that have come out of the fandom in the past couple of years. They're so shitty
