Scrubs. Never watch the season that shall not be named.

House too, probably. Starts to get really shark-jumpy around season 4.

I've also heard Battlestar Gallactica, but I've never watched it so I can't really be certain.

Oh shit I forgot about BSG2.

You may wish to stop after Season 1, however there is one really cool part of 2 that might make the drag worthwhile, and they haven't totally butchered the characters or the potential of the Machine God yet.

Definitely, definitely stop before Season 3. But should you soldier through, keep on and finish it to watch everything you loved burn in the fires of Mormon Robot Jesus.

Someday I may still get around to it. My other geek friends have expressed great dismay that I never saw it.

Definitely plan to stop somewhere around s2 if that happens.

The pilot episode is one of the best episodes of any sci-fi show I've ever seen. Legitimately. (I can't remember if this is s01e01 in the list though because there are other eps that precede it in the timeline but this was the one that aired first. Back when.... back when... I watched shows on a "teevee", I think it was called. You know, the large video game monitor thingy.)

That was a long fucking way to fall.

I vaguely remember the days of "telling visions". I also somehow remember the visions being less bad, but that's probably just my memories being obscured by the mists of time.

At least it took a while to fail though, unlike certain other visions I could name.

I for one liked all 4 seasons of BSG back when I was into it. Tried to rewatch recently and didn't enjoy any of it, though.

Back when it was a huuuuge thing everyone watching it on my flist was real, real mad about the last seasons. And the finale especially.

But yeah, I don't have a dog in that fight. Someday I may watch it myself, who knows?

Seasons 1-3 of House are so important to me; 4 is meh with some high points, 5 is meh, and after that I really don't like it.

Also +10 on Scrubs.

I was like, "Oh fuck right OFF."

But like a sap, I kept watching.

LOL I remember watching that at 15 or 16 and being like THIS IS SO RIDICULOUS BUT I DON'T CARE

I always intended to catch up (I dropped off right after House and Cuddy started dating, but only because I was busy), then I found out House drove his car into Cuddy's dining room and for SO MANY REASONS I gave up.

I was much younger, much more naïve. I thought "Oh, this can't really get worse."

Now, I tend to drop shows the second they pull some shit like that, because now I have learned that they always get worse. So, thanks, House. Thanks for that life lesson.

I stopped watching when they started dating because I HATED that pairing.

(I've never seen "House" outside of a few random snippets, but now I kind of want to see that scene/episode just because of the sheer goofiness of it :p.)

I think that was in season 5, if I recall correctly. The whole theme of the episode is a big ol' classic abortion/anti-abortion debate.

And yeah, it's just... oh boy, is it ever terrible. Imagine a baby hand that looks suspiciously like a plastic doll and you've about got the image.

Ahhhhhh, that kind of debate. Fun, fun. Did it cause a lot of debate in the fandom, or was everyone pretty much on the same page?

LOL, yeah, that's about the image I had in my head :p. That's funny. If I ever come across that episode I'll give it a look, 'cause I'm so curious now :D.

I can't recall if there was much fandom debate because I wasn't that active in House fandom. I certainly wasn't reading fic for it.

I have to assume it did, but then... I recall that at the time there was a huge round of anti-abortion yapping happening irl and the show was piggybacking on the issue.

It was based on a real photograph.

I liked 4, though with some meh points. 5 was meh for me. and 6 and following not only ruined the show for me, it even ruined the earlier seasons for a long time. It was only recently I was able to rewatch (and found myself with completely different shipping and character preferences).

I'm not sure which is the season that shall not be named but I enjoyed everything up 'till the season where they tried to change the cast to the younger lot.

I never actually managed to finish BSG while it was going, I just got completely bored with it, asked a friend how it ended and was glad I didn't waste my time with it.

The last season of Scrubs is the season which shall not be named where they basically had gotten totally cancelled and then brought back on last second notice. And they totally recast it and ... NO. IT DOES NOT EXIST.

If I ever watch BSG I will totally stop around s2 somewhere.

I think that might be the season I'm thinking of...

It's okay, it's not real. It didn't happen.

I'd probably do the same thing if I ever re-watched it.
