Eh, I'd disagree. I've had a few things where I didn't get the hype, but mostly even if I come out thinking 'That was good but not fantastic like people said', I won't be disappointed.

I just think nothing survives the overhype, so for me even if something is ok I'm more likely to think "that was it?" instead of something more positive.
