If people give you too much grief, point them over towards the state of dps rankings on Noxxic. Depending on your gear level, BM can outperform MM on single target fights up until ilevel 685+, and can handily outperform on multi-targets. There's been a pervasive belief that MM is hands-down the superior option this expansion but that's just not borne out by the numbers. (Now, if you had said you were raiding as survival... :P )
