Do I hate myself enough to reread the entire Drizzt series before I force myself to make another attempt at finishing Neverwinter, or should I just reread Gauntlgrym before starting Neverwinter?

"Don't read any of them if you don't enjoy them" isn't an option, I can't just drop series unless they do something horrible, so I need to know if I should read the ones I enjoyed first or just get right to the suffering.

No. The early books are terrible.
...I mean, I don't know if it gets any better, because by book 3 or so I was so done with the awful, incomprehensible purple prose, and the lack of anything resembling realistic character development or motivations.

.........I'm probably the wrong person to answer this haha

They were fine for a while when Entreri was around as a major character, but then some stuff with a flute happened and Entreri got replaced by a pod person. Then the spellplague happened and it was like, honestly can you not? -_-

Nothing is worth rereading the seventh Drizzt book, and I say that as someone who liked the first three.
