I agree that Momoa doesn't look at all like the comic version of the character, but he looks so much cooler than the comic version that I don't
mind at all. And I like Momoa as an actor.

Plus it is nice that they're going for more diversity instead of trying to cast as many white guys as they can.

+1, Aquaman is 99% terrible. Momoa at least brings something new.

Agreed.

MTE. What is that pale blond guy but just more of the same old, same old? I'm just so tired of blue-eyed white guys with the same cast of features. Momoa is different and is seasoned as an actor. And when I first saw that poster it knocked my socks off.

When the character is previously established to be blonde and blue eyed and white then honestly it's only "same old same old" when it comes to "this is how the character has looked for so long". Can we not even cast white people as white characters any more without being accused of whitewashing?

Oh right Dr Strange of course we can't.

I'm sorry, but how many blue-eyed, blond, white male characters do you need *cough* Steve Rogers *cough* Thor *cough* do you need starring in the lead roles of their own superhero movies in the past 15 years before you're happy? Seriously? Jesus.
