+1. That attitude always comes across as so fetishizing and patronizing.

Especially since the same people that go "uwu lesbians are magical. they are all beautiful goddesses" will usually go bully and harass lesbians that disagree with them.

"X is ~*~completely pure and flawless stuff~*~" coming from someone is usually a giant, wind-whipped red flag that that person should be avoided.

I fucking hate that, and if someone older than 15 says that stuff and claims to be a lesbian herself, I think she's lying.

if it comes from lesbians I don't care, they and their relationships get shit on enough that they deserve to hyperbolically praise themselves if they choose. from straight people though? ew

I mean, depends on the context then? gay men wanting to uphold their sisters is fine and good so long as it's not condescending, same goes for bi people, trans people, etc.
