(You realize if nobody had more than two kids, the world population would decline, right? or is that part of our point?)

Yeah, I realized that might be the case too as I posted it...but I take issue with a definition of "selfish" that apparently means "doesn't want humans to eventually die out".

Having children in general is selfish. It's the most selfish act there is. You're creating small replicas of yourself with the impression that it will improve your own quality of life, or the general well-being of the world at large.

Yes. As someone who doesn't want kids, I'm so sick of being told it's selfish NOT to have kids, and...that doesn't even make sense. Like, at all. I can't even begin to comprehend the logic behind it. It's having kids that's selfish when the world already has so many people, just because you're narcissistic enough to think society needs your genes to be carried on.
