Jesus, I don't even care about Power Rangers beyond heavy childhood nostalgia, but Rita's look was pretty damn iconic. They could have updated her without completely recreating her. The actress isn't the issue at all, it's the makeup/look. She looks more like a rejected Mortal Kombat fan-made ninja than Rita Repulsa. I would never in a million years guess that this is who the character in that photo is supposed to be.

[all I can say is thank God for the comics because they haven't fucked up her look there]
