Bruce. Get your facts straight Bruce participated in creating Ultron.

It's more like:
I /and Bruce/ /accidently/ created a murder robot and /the robot/ almost destroyed the world.

Scarlet Witch had a part in this too.

I guess you hate the character too much to be rational on this. It's alright as it's only a character.

Bruce: I thought Ultron was a fantasy. That is a big if [creating ultron]. You are going for artificial intelligence and don't want to tell the team. Sounds like a cold world Tony.

Also, Scarlet Witch had literally NO hand in Ultron. Have you SEEN the movie? Scarlet Witch sort of helped create Vision. So yeah, good work buddy.

ETA: Tony CREATED Ultron by himself and introduced him to Bruce mostly fully formed.

ETA: I actually like Tony for the most part. But he did some really stupid stuff in CA:CW.

I agree that trying to pin some of the blame on Scarlet Witch is wrong--mostly it comes across as trying to defend Tony rather than try to represent the situation rationally.

But she DID give him one of those nightmare vision things that she specifically says she did so he would 'self-destruct'. She just didn't account on how many people he could take out with him.

Now, Tony was the one who had the idea of Ultron, who had the capability of building Ultron, who didn't tell his teammates about these plans, etc, but Scarlet Witch is not totally blameless.

But Bruce isn't innocent either. Yeah, he wasn't all gung-ho for it immediately, but he still helped.

No, like I said--Tony's the most to blame here. I'm not looking to make him innocent or SW guilty. It's just I don't think it should be COMPLETELY ignored that she did what she did--I mean, for one, is it really just a bad dream? Thor got like... a prophecy/precognition/nightmare thing. Hulk's vision made him rampage through the streets but everyone else stayed still as if they could only see and react to what they were seeing in their head.

Basically, Wanda's visions seem to work basically as the writers need them to (as is tradition from the comics), so it's not exactly clear how much or in what ways she effected him beyond merely making him afraid.

I mean, if I knew someone was feeling murderous and I told them where to find a gun and they went off and killed people, certainly *I* didn't murder those people... but I'm not exactly innocent, either. That's definitely not a perfect analogy... I mean, it's more like I reminded someone who forgot about murdering that they were planning on murder... or something...

Her vision played on his existing fears and anxieties (he hasn't been the same since that Chitauri incident) and blew them into full-on paranoia. But what he then did with that paranoia was all on him, since he wasn't mentally handicapped by her influence after the fight they were in ended.

Scarlet Witch purposely lets Tony take the staff because she knows that he'll do something fucked up with it. She just doesn't forsee that the inevitable fucked-upness is going to come at the expense of her homeland.

Accidentally created, without telling anyone else about it until shit was getting real, and which literally anybody could've seen was a terrible iodea from the outset.
