Rock on, OP. Like what you like. I personally don't find it a brilliant show, but I do feel it's legitimately helped make nerd culture more mainstream - more than alienating nerds, which is what the nerd outcry tends to be. Yeah, it makes fun of nerds, absolutely, but it also showcases a lot of nerd passion and now my great grandmother knows what Comic Con and cosplay are, and that will never not be hilarious. Anyway, it's as dumb as any sitcom, but dumbly enjoyable, too.
