It's weird, because in high school, I loved this show. Thought it was hilarious, watched every episode multiple times, got the DVDs for Christmas, lurked in some LJ comms. Then...somewhere around season 4 I started watching other comedies (yes, Community, and The IT Crowd, and a little later Parks and Rec) and BBT just stopped being funny to me, I guess. I didn't even come to this conclusion through the internet hatedom or anything, it just kind of...happened.

Now I find it kind of hard to watch, just because the jokes come across as really unfunny to me (and Leonard and Howard were always fucking awful even when I was a big fan), but I don't think that people who like it automatically have bad taste or anything. I understand how it can appeal to people. Just doesn't to me, anymore.
