Rats and mice. Everyone else shrieks about how disgusting they are and I'm there, cooing over the little rodents.

Saaaame! Rodents in general, but especially rats and mice, register as adorable to me. I hate those "fear factor" type shows where it's like "reach into a jar of rats GASP" and if it were me, I'd be picking them up and cuddling them.

I used to sit on the floor and knit and listen to music while my rats were having their free-run time. When Martha Jones decided I wasn't paying enough attention to her, she'd climb up my shoulder and pull one of my earbuds out and stick her nose in my ear.

Hahaha that's so sweet.

My boy Nic (short for Nicodemus) was just obsessed with trying to get in my mouth to clean my teeth for me. He also loved to ride around on my shoulder and scare my cat.

I miss his little face.

I think they're adorable as pets, but if I see one scurrying around in public I get a little grossed out and wouldn't eat at any restaurants in that area.

Yeah I'm fine with them too and they're cute, though I'd be careful around feral rats just because I don't want to get anything from being bitten by one, but pet ones are so cute.

I used to work in a store with a big rodent problem. Mice shit and pee everywhere. Food thrown away constantly. Dead mice in the back of shelves. Rat blood leaking out of the ceiling.

The clean pet ones are cute but I have definitely shrieked about how disgusting they are and I will again.
