I once had a delirious fever-dream about a live-action movie adaptation of Avatar The Last Airbender. Thank god that movie doesn't actually exist.

My friend who hadn't seen the Avatar series thought it was mediocre and entertaining enough, though ultimately forgettable. I don't think I can divorce my opinion from the animated series itself, though. I guess if I were a kid and I only saw that movie, I might've enjoyed it, but just knowing all the dumb changes and whitewashing, not to mention making the entire thing only like 80 minutes long which caused for half of it to be voice-over exposition... ugh.

Oh, ugh. I saw that with my dad. I tried to talk him into watching the show, but the movie totally burned him on the idea. It makes me sad. Such a bad movie.
