The one that comes most easily to mind is Le Week-End. Two frankly unbearable old Brits go to Paris, remind the population of Paris why living in a tourist destination is shit, skip out on the bill at dinner, argue about their sex life, skip out on the bill at their hotel, and generally make me regret the whole experience.

Hey I saw this with my mom! I really liked it and thought it was funny, but this is a fair summary. Pretty bleak humour iirc.

I somehow read the title as La Cage aux Folles and was about to get super argumentative, but then I re-read it and realized I've never seen the thing.

It looks like a bad rehash of a Lost In Translation plot.
