Not everyone will like Reborn. Nor will everyone like every manga series despite positive reviews. Reborn's early volumes depended heavily on one's sense of humor (which apparently you lack).

Nor is a coordinating conjunction. 8D It also just sounds better this way, i.e. the parallelism was off. I'd say the logic was off in the second clause, but it's still understandable in this sense. ♥
