Redemption and forgiveness are two of my favorite tropes, but only when they are done right. It has to make sense for the characters, and if the person who wronged the other keeps going back and doing it again and the other person keeps allowing them back into their lives, then I don't like it. You can forgive someone and still realize they aren't going to change and that you don't need them in your life. But if the person has actually changed, then I love forgiveness storylines.
