This right here is the problem with fiction that tries to guilt-trip you for consuming it. It implies a hypothetical path where you would not be guilt-tripped or be guilt-tripped less (even if that's "never watching this movie we made, because only sickos would watch our movie.") That allows other people who chose differently to claim moral superiority just for how they consume fiction.

lol What. Man, I'm glad I stick to the outskirts of the Undertale fandom if this is an actual discussion people are having.

I hate to sound like a whiner, but the font type along with the color scheme hurt my eyes while reading it

Wow, that's dumb. I also plan on not doing genocide run (still part way through pacifist, though I already played the game through once on "neutral") and I do plan on looking up spoilers (dunno about videos, but I do want to see what would have happened - AFTER I beat pacifist). Your friend is being a jerk. The whole point of video games is to have fun, so why shouldn't people play them the way they want to?

I've watched Youtube videos of Undertale, myself. Having done some reading I don't think I'd want to do the genocide route; there are some really creepy storytelling elements that come out of that and I know I'd be NOPEing out of there as fast as I could.

I know nothing about this game but this friend sounds mad toxic.

Get better friends.

Also, Undertale. Ugh.

(Anonymous) 2016-06-07 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
* you typo'd "Undertale is awesome" there buddy

(Anonymous) 2016-06-07 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
Ditto to the getting better friends part.

Since when is micromanaging your gaming hobby a sign of true friendship, anyhow? It might be time to depose a few self-appointed dictators.

Am I a hypocrite for also liking the fact that this douchebag can't beat Sans even though I did? Probably :P
