Re: Have you ever been crazy about a minor character?

General Hux. There are bits of his character I think can be seen from canon, but it isn't a lot.

And Celebrimbor is probably my favorite Tolkien character even though there are only some bits to his character and story and a whole lot we don't know.

A lot of Harry Potter minor characters were more interesting to me. The teachers were great, especially McGonagall. Does Neville count as a minor character?

I would 100% watch an entire movie about poor Celebrimbor.

If I had the money, I'd pay to get that movie made. He tries so hard to escape his family's fate and unlike the rest of them really wants to do the right thing. And yet in the end, he helps Sauron. And then he tries to make up for it with his very tragic and painful ending.

I love him so much. He's such a fascinating character. I'm very interested in the earlier stuff, in his relationship with his family members and how that shaped who he later became. And also his friendship with Narvi because I love dwarf and elf friendships.

With you on Hux and Celebrimbor. Adding: Maeglin. Although with Tolkien, I'm never quite sure who counts as a minor character and who doesn't haha!
