I love h/c, but I find that it's a delicate balance. I prefer more hurt than comfort - by which I mean I don't like 'comfort' when it's chapter after chapter of sick room and chicken noodle soup. Less is more for me in that aspect - I'd rather deal with the trauma, but not have a drawn out recovery - but I know some people who just love that hospital bedside kind of fic.

Anyway, yes, I very much like h/c in the hands of an author who delivers the right balance to me. :)
