You have tried repeatedly to downplay or outright deny Mary's repeated transphobia and blackmail. You have implied repeatedly that Carla skating in the hallway and being childish is somehow worse than transphobia and blackmail. Mary is a fucking strawman character; she's a one-dimensional stereotype with no characterization beyond "awful, bigoted Christian bully." That's the character you're sympathetic to, not the "nuanced, kinda childish but self-confident trans character."

It says a lot about you that you're siding with the bigot. You could argue that Carla's no better (though you're wrong) but the solution then is to NOT SIDE WITH EITHER OF THEM, YOU FUCKING TERF.

Holy fucking shit, "feared for her life?" Now I KNOW you're trolling. That's not even remotely accurate to the comic. If she feared for her life she would've closed the door and maybe called the cops or something. Instead, she stepped out to scream at Carla and ripped the box out of Carla's hands.

Carla wasn't "going after" Mary either. Carla was just skating in the hall. Mary was purposely making herself a pest to get Carla to stop skating in the hall. It didn't work.

If Mary started treating Carla horribly on her own I wouldn't be feeling sorry for her. And no, I don't agree with her politics at all. But she just wanted to be left alone, and Carla wouldn't stop.

And after that one comment, she hasn't done anything else to Carla either. Whereas Carla is still going after her.

I don't like an obnoxious character who happens to be trans is a far cry from your wildly flattering interpretations of Mary, her behavior and her treatment. Your insistance on her being an intended victim of Carla skating in the hall is wrong. Period. Mary escalated things, not Carla.

Carla spent time constructing ONE get-back prank at Mary, taking matters into her own hands because Ruth won't. It's a bit elaborate, it's a bit over-the-top, but it's hardly "still going after Mary" -- especially since we haven't seen either of them since the pie incident. Did you seriously expect Carla to not do anything in response to Mary's transphobia and blackmailing the RA?

Arguably both are shitty people, but as I said before, the proper answer then is to not take sides with either. Instead you side with the bigot. You may (claim to) not agree with her politics, but you're certainly downplaying her hatred and bigotry because Carla was being childish to her. Is that your value system?
