I've never seen anyone blush. I don't know how people can tell what this so-called "blushing" looks like. When everyone else goes "ooooh you're blushing!" to someone, they always look the same to me.

Me too. I probably have seen it technically, but not realized it was blushing.

They're probably not blushing, just doing the body language that people code as blushing. Whenever someone has said that to me I have not been blushing - I was embarrassed or uncomfortable in a way that usually drains my face of color, but people insist on saying I'm blushing with a *nudge nudge, wink wink.

I have VERY pale skin, when I actually blush I turn as red as a sunburn from my hairline down to hell. I've looked down and seen my ARMS turn from white to pink to red in seconds when this happens. People never comment when it's happening, they just squirm and look away uncomfortably because it looks horrible.
