oh god it sounded so much like badfic. I had to stop reading and hope the actual text will make it less terrible.

I thought in the books that time turners could only go back a few hours at the most- and the wiki seems to agree with me. Makes the entire plot sound like bad time travel fanfic I read in 2003.

Yes and in the books everything that happened when you went back in time with the time turners has already happened. There were no alternate universes.

NAYRT - Allowed to impregnate... she would've been seventeen or something too, right?!

And actually, I think Draco was married to her younger sister Astoria, so if it was Astoria (I didn't read the entire recap)... SQUICK.

(Also, how does the age thing work? Unless that was also by way of time turner.)

Oops, you're right about the name, I needed more wiki time before posting! So Astoria was about 15 at the battle of Hogwarts, but she was 24 when Scorpius was born. I'd assume the rumour is that she used a time turner to go back in time and have sex with Voldie before he was defeated?? It's a pretty nonsensical and vile thing to say about someone, and I'd bet it's mostly meant to emasculate Draco but I can JKR her the benefit of the doubt on that.
Pottermore says Astoria's refused to raise Scorpius to be intolerant of muggles, so she must be all right.
