I don't poop anywhere where I can't shower soon after. I do not feel clean after pooping no matter how thoroughly I wipe.

Sounds like you should invest in some personal sanitary wipes. They make those now, you know.

... Either you have serious constipation issues, you live somewhere where drought is not an issue, or you can afford to waste water, and whatever the case you have issues, full stop. Where I live, saving the money I would've wasted on showering more than once a day for even six months would probably be enough to buy and install a bidet.

nayrt but I do. I poop several times a day. I drink lots of water and use the bathroom frequently because I hate holding it, and I'll squeeze out poop whenever.

AYRT--er, yes? Sometimes? I mean it's not like I keep count, but it happens. Honestly I'd be, well, I dunno about worried, 'cause caring about strangers's shit=weird, but I'd at least wonder what someone's diet was like that they didn't, ever. I picture someone who lives on meat and starch with maybe one obligatory sad boiled vegetable side dish.

You shoudl really keep track of your poops.

Dude, I barely keep track of my period and that happens way less often. The only time I pay any attention to my shit is if I've been taking antibiotics or have had to deworm all my pets and am wondering whether to dose myself.

I usually poop twice a day, sometimes 3 times. I drink lots of water, eat lots of high-fiber foods, and exercise every day as part of the management of my IBS symptoms.

Even showering daily is bad for your skin and hair, and bad for the environment. People should learn to just wipe their bodies and not wash their hair/shower so often.

Sorry OP. Apparently most people on here poop 3-4 times a day and the idea of showering after pooping is mind blowing. Because they poop so often.

I shit about every other day.

It's not just about how often you poop, but when you need to poop. It's not always going to happen when you're at home or about to be home soon. Holding it in can make it drier and harder to push out layer. Then there's the times you can't hold it...

Just get some wet wipes and you'll be fine.

Get more fiber in your diet
