People are saying this is a troll comment, but it makes sense to me. Male fans think that female characters deserve to have bad stuff happen to them just for being annoying or not letting the male heroes (as they are, typically) get their way. And if it just so happens that the method of comeuppance is through a villain and done in a misogynistic manner, there are fans (both male and female) who will cheer without an ounce of self-awareness that they are on the villain's side.

Mystigue is super annoying though. I mean I don't want Jean to get hurt. She's one of the good ones! Smurfette needs to roughed up a little tho. See if that improves her attitude.
