Meanwhile, at the beginning of the week, the Wander Over Yonder fandom succeeded in getting one of theirs to commit suicide. But nobody's talking about that because the fandom doesn't have a "toxic" reputation or biased hatedom.

Is a lot harder to find than it was a couple days ago. This is all I could find searching Google and the Tumblr tag. I guess most of the wank itself got taken down? Huh, okay maybe that's why it's not being talked about. It was a mod of one of the confessions communities, and from all I could gather, she shipped a one-shot character in a way that some people "found problematic."

By coincidence, I sometimes visit the DA account of one of goddess-mettaton's close friends, and saw several status updates she'd made the night it happened. Apparently she'd been bullied in the fandom for awhile, and it escalated that night (I THINK it was the night of June 13th, but it could have been the 12th) because of some comments she'd made about radical Islam in regards to the Orlando shooting.

All my digging in DA and Tumblr couldn't uncover that blow-up (goddess-mettaton's blog only loaded as a blank white background) nor the specific reasons for the original bullying. And a lot of the posts about it all have been deleted, apparently due to the wishes of GM's boyfriend.
