I like how you don't think those pics were carefully planned. They are both benefiting from this media storm and they know exactly what they are doing. Celebs (esp Tom Hiddleston) don't get caught making out on a public beach unless they want to be caught.

On the other hand, it hardly makes it somehow villainous for Taylor Swift to act that way when you have a world that judges her shit as deeply as it does. Man, when people react this way to a carefully staged photo op, what the hell is she supposed to do?

1) You don't know that. You have no way of knowing that unless you secretly work with one of them. Celebs get caught doing things ALL THE TIME.

2) Alright, let's assume they did this on purpose. They went out to kiss knowing someone would take a pic. Unless the person taking the pic was told to do so BY THEM, they also don't know this and are therefor still taking pics of someone they think doesn't know, so that they can make money off of it. Still morally bankrupt!

And I go back to 3) Paparazzi culture is fucked up and yes, it's still possible this was not set up. It's summer. It's hot. People go to the beach. Don't sell their fucking pictures to magazines. Legal right and moral right are two different things.

It's not an attention grab when two adult people who want to be in a relationship simply decide not to expend significant effort to hide said relationship.

Did they know they were going to be photographed when they went to a public place and behaved affectionately towards each other? Presuming it actually was a public place, yeah, I'm sure they did know. But I don't know why anyone would ascribe any sort of negative motivations to their actions, when the simplest and most sensible explanation is that they simply don't feel like sneaking around when they're not actually doing anything wrong in the first place. So they picked their moment (which is basically the only control they have in this situation), and gave the paps their shot. It's what I would have done.
