It's funny, actually. Fandom people are constantly bitching about how others shouldn't be so over-the-top trollish, because people on the internet are real people with real feelings who exist in the real world.
But when someone else says hey, real person with real feelings who exists in the real world, maybe you should get a fucking normal perspective, it's all OMG INTERNET IS SRS BSNS

This? Very much leads me to believe that this person is not in touch with reality. You cannot "whatever" Martin King and have a decent grasp on the real world.
What I am saying is that it's not just about her preferring a fictional person over a real person, but that she had little to no regard FOR those real people.
Beyond my obvious if accurate strawman, I really don't understand what you're trying to argue here. A concept being realised WHAT now? How is that relevant at all?
