I feel like the author has to do something like this every once in a while so people go run and catch up again.

Both Armin and Erwin are likely dead. Armin had one of the most brutal deaths in the manga. He was burned alive and his smoking corpse fell from a high distance.

I seriously hate everyone who cannot accept death happens. It's more realistic if people who die remain dead and there are no miracle cures. If you can accept it in fiction it makes it easier to deal with IRL, believe me.

I mean, I'm bummed about Armin, but I'm also kind of happy they finally won a fight. Also I pretty much expect most of the cast to die.

lol, I don't believe Armin and Erwin aren't coming back until another chapter or so. But if they really do both stay dead, it means we're nearing the end.
I was kind of surprised at the one-two with both of them being killed one after the other, though. I wonder if Isayama's going to force Levi to choose between them for the titan-juice.
