(Anonymous) 2016-06-17 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)IDK, wasn't Luthien the most beautiful elf in the history of everything precisely because a) her mother was a Maia (basically a frickin' angel) and b) her dad was so gorgeous a frickin' angel fell in love with him and actually spent several decades just standing and staring at him going "holy fuck he is so gorgeous"? Also, Galadriel is one of the most beautiful elf women ever as well, and her brother Finrod is described as the fairest of all the Noldor princes. I think genetics certainly has some input into beauty levels.
