For me, it was how long they held the moment and neither said anything. It just felt silly.

Rey seems to like staring competitions.

She also likes chasing people with her staff. How awesome would it have been if Luke ran away, and then she went chasing after him, just like a repeat of the Rey/Finn chase scene at the beginning. LOL

I loved the film, but IA; the end scene went on too long. It should've cut off quicker.

Same. I liked the film and I mean yeah there were some little nit-picky things I could rag on, but how long that final scene was just stood out like a sore thumb to me. It just got ridiculous after a while.

MTE. It took me out of the film as well; there was no other scene in the film that I could point to and say, “This doesn't feel like it belongs", but that's absolutely how I feel about that scene. It just...feels comical and ridiculous instead of intriguing or surprising. All the drama is a bit too much.

Yeah, I mean iirc it did this whole melodramatic panning and everything. Calm down, yeesh.

They totally did! It isn't like that scene ruined the film for me, but the impact it was meant to have was certainly gone.

I mean, then I saw this vid and I'm not sure I will ever get over it....

(Anonymous) 2016-06-20 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
Holy Balls! That's amazing

(Anonymous) 2016-06-20 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
Jfc, that video just ruined my life.

Holy shit, lmao.

Just when you feel you've seen everything, the internet does something like this.

And makes you so glad of its existence.

I agree. The cut off should been quicker, otherwise it looks weird to have them staring at one another without saying a word.

Yeah I struggled to take the ending seriously. It was like a very long version of that dramatic rodent...
