AYRT It's not what I want. When I watch older films and tv shows I tend to find the cast way more attractive because they all look real.

I seriously don't think people would have even noticed or cared if we kept our actors looking "realistic" and not so perfectly made up and skewed thin/muscled bodies. It's just what Hollywood and media decided we wanted to see.

Why are they, though? Media does influence us. I mean, our parents and grandparents found those people attractive. They're certainly not ugly. They just look at bit more like...real people? Our beauty standards do not exist in a vacuum.
