I don't ship them, as I didn't see chemistry between them, but I could see a case for them having originally supposed to have been his ex-wife and son. I'm not in the fandom really, but I wouldn't have an issue with anyone shipping them. They're not my thing, but they're consenting adults, so do what you want.
