If you like tactics/strategy games you can't go wrong with XCOM 1 and 2, especially the 2nd.

I liked the first X-Com but I haven't played it in years and years. X-Com 2 seems too flashy.

Oh no I guess I meant the original X-Com from back in the 90s

Yeah I was referring to the new series. The original game has its charm, but Terror from the Deep is too damn hard and I prefer the Firaxis games overall.
