The homeless aren't invisible in California, more's the pity--not for the sake of my or the other housed population's delicate eyeballs, but for their sake, because boy howdy do they get hassled by the police. To be fair, some of them aren't nice people, but that can be said of any group.

That's such a shitty policy! Just because I find someone unpleasant doesn't mean they shouldn't get to exist *somewhere* without being harassed right?
I'm not saying I'm an expert or there aren't any problems but the police station and courthouse are literally a block away so at least nobody is hiding from the police.
