It's okay to feel that way. I enjoyed the movie for what it was, but I didn't have someone mislead about it either. I would have been pretty pissed if someone had.

It kind of sucks when can't even get the 'best friend actually like you back' in an actual gay movie tho.

Normally I'd point out that courtesy still is an option in a multi-fandom community, but this was totally avoidable when the title of the movie is big and obvious without a spoilery image.

I felt this way about this Canadian movie I saw once. I finished watching and I was like wtf movie. You failed. It happens, unfortunately. I almost never like the canon romance in gay movies.

To be honest I wish more hetro rom-coms took this route and had the best friend's unrequited love remain unrequited, but I can see why it might be disappointing in this case because having the straight best friend actually fall for the gay best friend who has been in love with him is pretty rare.
