Yay? Some improvement at least? ): but I really do prefer they/them/their, not "it" pronouns. If they/them/their is too confusing for you (which I understand, it can be) there are other ones like ze/zir or ey/em/eir.

I know you well enough to know that your "preferred pronouns" are just bullshit attention-grabbing.

You're the only one that makes them an issue. Saying "hey, it's they/them/their, not he or she" isn't exactly am attention-grabbing statement, unless a misgendering stalker constantly makes an issue of it.

I've known a lot of self-absorbed sociopaths who eventually declare themselves as being whatever not-cisgender term they want to use, strictly for the perceived social status and the right to scream at people for "getting it wrong." Let's see where you are in six months, we'll see if my theory about you is right.

Considering I first stated I was non-binary on FS over a year ago in the "Ask a FSer Anything" thread, I think your theory has already been proven wrong. Source.

I don't think I've ever screamed at anyone on here for getting my pronouns wrong. I strive to not do that sort of thing. I certainly don't look for an excuse to do something like that.

Since you allegedly know me so well, I'm sure you'd have noticed if I had did that in the past year. But I think maybe you don't me that well, and are operating under a lot of false assumptions under me.

Do you strive not to be a self-righteous autist who absolutely must have the last word on everything and instead of admitting when you're wrong you just double down and crow moral victory when the other person gives up? Because you suck at not being that kind of person. This is just another ploy for attention; you've stuck with it because it grants you minority status, which confers a permanent victim status so you can play at being sad when someone "misgenders" you.

I don't know if I'm autistic or not, but you can't strive to not be autistic.

I strive to be a good person. I am not perfect. I do struggle to break a tendency to be self-righteous and condescending. Maybe I suck at not being those things, but I'm not going to give up trying.

This is just another ploy for attention; you've stuck with it because it grants you minority status, which confers a permanent victim status so you can play at being sad when someone "misgenders" you.

If you really believe that, then the best thing to do is to use the appropriate pronouns and give me no opportunity to "play at being sad".

Maybe some people lie about their gender status. But you shouldn't ignore people's statements on their preferred pronouns. Because you are not an omniscient judge and you might be mistaken and hurting a trans person by doing so.

I won't try to convince you of my gender identity, because you are deeply convinced I'm lying. But not believing is no excuse to ignore my preferred pronouns.

I'm saying it's a good idea to always use people's preferred pronouns, because you are not omniscient. Setting yourself up as a judge of who deserves to be called their preferred pronouns, and who doesn't, is not a good idea.
