That was something I really liked in Mad Men. One of the best episodes ("The Suitcase") took place on Peggy's 25th birthday and she's avoiding going out to her awkward family gathering; and then the followed it up in the final season with a similar scene, where she quietly tells Don it's her 30th birthday and isn't doing anything at all for it.

Or the time it was Don's birthday (the Zou Bisou party) but then he and Megan talk later that Dick Whitman's birthday was several months earlier.

I dig birthday stuff too.

At first I thought you meant the historical Sargon of Akkad and I was actually pumped because I thought this was a Youtube channel for making fun of historical figures

Anyway, good on you, I guess. Can't wait to hear about how anyone who claims to be progressive is actually a member of the ~~~regressive left~~~ (and seriously, can anyone tell me what in God's name that means? is it just people on the left who are mean and/or stupid sometimes) but that's the world that we live in now I guess.

I can see the Steve Rogers - Jack Morrison connection (in fact I've wondered if Jack Morrison was made to invoke Cpt America, since y'know blond, blue-eyed poster boy, who also was in a secret super soldier program), but Reyes - Wilson kinda doesn't click with me. I admit most of it has to do with the fact that Reyes is a latino and Wilson isn't. Also their dynamic as Reaper and Soldier 76 is way different than Sam's and Steve's and that's the dynamic I personally prefer. Of course fan art doesn't have to reflect that.

But anyway, you have fun OP.

Man, I miss Richonne... (Mistakenly typed “kiss Richonne" and that worked too.)

This secret reminded me that I have no idea when TWD is coming back, and I should look into that. Also, I missed the entire second season of FTWD because of flooding, and I'd like to catch up with that. (Did anyone like season 2 more then 1? I liked the first season when others didn't, so maybe my expectations were lower.)

As for the actual secret... I'm always open to more interracial pairings, and I think there are certain times (like with Rick and Michonne) where some people seem blown away by a relationship being romantic, despite the fact that there was tons of lead up.

And Abbie... Well, she did deserve a better ending, but the show also deserved a better story and writing too, tbh. I thought Ichabod and Abbie was hinted at heavily over the course of the show, so why some of TPTB acted like they were surprised at the suggestion remains a mystery.

Yeah, I feel similar. They're more than just their roll too; making jokes like "you're free, genie" when Robin William died strikes me in poor taste.

A lot grieving stuff makes me feel similar because people tend to make it all about themselves or some political cause too rather than the person who died.

Maybe you should take a look at what you're doing in your porn fics that you're not doing in your gen fics, and vice versa. There are some writing elements that are important in most stories but not in PWPs. Maybe you're lacking in one of those areas.
