Sure. But given that there are several of them and they're now pretty much the rulers of a significant political power, what are the odds that will happen quickly? It may happen eventually... after being a plot arc of its own dragged out over who knows how many episodes. If the writers have gone through this much trouble to change the plot and characters from the books, they're probably not going to axe them in a single episode.

The discussion was about the Sand Snakes, though. We've only seen three of them in the show so far, but there are eight altogether, and they appear to have the support of the people, plus Ellaria Sand. The three oldest Snakes and Ellaria definitely care a whole lot about Oberyn's death, enough to start a war over it. We already know this because they've overthrown and murdered Dorne's ruler AND his heir and poisoned Marcella Lannister.
