Well, not exactly, but I've heard people say Fantine was also too pretty during her prostitute phase in the 2012 Les Mis film.

Which IMO is baffling to me because Anne Hathaway looked like someone who was starving to death during those scenes, like literally skin and bones, and waxy under ugly prostitute makeup.

Which I guess is, depressingly, what western audiences these days consider to be "attractive." Ugh.

NAYRT--yeah, but still unhealthily thin and just unhealthy in general. I remember reading something where Hathaway said she kept getting asked how she got so skinny for the role, like, what was her diet and exercise routine like? And she was always horrified and would say that she was supposed to look like she was dying of starvation and venereal disease and exposure and no she wasn't going to share dieting tips to look like a starving waif. And that it made her sad that looking ike someone dying partially of starvation was considered "sexy."
