Re: how do you make room for jesus in your everyday life
- It's easy to get in the habit of praying throughout the day if you tie it with a specific quiet activity like chores or showering.
- Find ways you can turn what you already do into action for him? Like, if you sew offer free tailoring/alterations to poor/homeless people. Or if you garden, give part of your harvest to others. If you bake, make extra for others.
- Live to his example and be warm with other people, even if you don't like their beliefs or think they're a tool or whatever. Practice seeing them as he would, as wholly formed people with good and bad sides, who are deserving of love and compassion.
- When you experience something nice, even if it's something like making a tasty breakfast for yourself, be mindful of it and thankful for the circumstances that made it a possibility.
