I wouldn't frame it as terrorism, but tabletop gaming - along with a lot of oldschool geek activities - definitely has a festering white male asshole problem. You can avoid it if you're particular about who you engage with, but open geek spaces still attract a lot of severely socially maladjusted dickheads, and the general "must not openly exclude people" philosophy of those spaces means said dickheads can poison them pretty damn quickly.
