Characters that are so different from the canon characters they are unrecognizable. AUs where the characters share nothing but a name with the canon characters. Romances where the author clearly stuck the characters into expected roles and stereotypes rather than actually thinking through how these particular characters would act together.

+1 to massively OOC characters. I just got into Overwatch, and I'm already learning to hate the Dorito gremlin.

Yesssss, these. OOCness drives me up the wall, and I hate AU's where the characters could easily be swapped out with other characters and nothing changes the fic.

All of this. Sometimes it feels like people either have no clue in the first place about their supposedly favorite characters, ir they just don't give a shit about writing them completely OOC. They just ram the wrong puzzle piece into an empty hole in their plot and hammer away until it "fits ".
