Infantilization of adult characters.

Especially in the Hobbit fandom. Fili and Kili may be younger than most of the other dwarves, but they are still adult dwarves. Sadly, in a huge number of fics they are portrayed as if they were kids who are 8 to 12 years old, and not even realistic kids.

I'm not sure about the exact age of adulthood for dwarves in The Hobbit, but even if Fili and Kili are slightly underage, it's more like they're the equivalent of 17 and 18 when adulthood is 21.
