Serious answer. Hoard the resources you can and get out of your life a bit. I know it's a terrible cliché "of he left for Nepal to find himself etc", but it can help. And it does not have to be Nepal. My best friend's cousin basically got this deal where's she's pet-and house-sitting half the years for a small compensation, and basically her day consists of walking dogs at the beach and not seeing people.

The thing is out modern world can be pretty toxic. You parents are probably well-meaning, but it might do you good to just step out of it and clear your head for a while. It gives different perspective. If you had any offers from friends to stay over, take hem up on it now.
