Whenever comment numbers are low, I blame whatever secrets of mine have gone up that day. Even when numbers are low across the board.

Hum, I feel like that's true as well, but I wonder how accurate that is.

Maybe because I know a lot of people come to f!s to talk, even if they don't have much to say about the actual secrets. It makes sense to me that days where there aren't as many interesting (Or discussion inducing) threads in GC, that the comment count would suffer.

Comments in GC always seem to be lower on days I don't show up, is what I've noticed. Might be because the trolls and haters come out to do glorious battle for the dominion of f!s, but I also think it's a little bit due to the fact that I try to start conversations.

I don't submit that many secrets, but I do always try to start a thread or play a game if it's a slow day. Perhaps try starting some threads as well?
